Social Media in 2021

How to Make Sure Your Social Media Posts Really Stand Out in 2021

With so many brands investing more and more in social networks, it becomes harder to identify them.

You should always try new tricks and formats and your current followers should always be amazed when they buy new ones.

With that in mind (and in preparation for the upcoming New Year), I’ve put together a list of creative tools and tricks you can use to make your social media content stand out!

Of course, different social media platforms may require different tricks, but this collection of ideas offers near-universal tips and examples:

1. Stop your animated GIF game

Images have been scientifically proven to improve social media engagement and animated images work even better, so it’s only natural to improve your visual marketing game.

Animated GIFs transformed from creative directors to humorous directors a few years ago and are still powerful social media content.

You can definitely find good animated GIFs online (or even download them from Twitter), but as always, this is the best way to create your own original content. The good news is that you don’t have to hire designers or buy expensive software.

Pixaloop, a creative application from Lightricks, is one of my latest (and favorite) discoveries. With Pixaloop you can “bring your photos to life”. The application allows you to animate any part of your photo:

• Use the arrows to determine the direction of movement

• Place anchors to hold parts of the image in place

Add parts of photos to keep them still.

2. Use ASCII art

Text art (also called ASCII art) is another old trend that has changed thanks to Twitter.

There are many people who don’t like ASCII art; we call these people “idiots”.

Somewhere between the famous emoticon on your shoulder and the character’s bunny meme, transforming keyboard symbols into fun designs is something else!

If you’d like to explore this trick, here are some resources and tools that can help you create ASCII art on social media:

• Here is a collection of ASCII rabbits that you can copy and paste into your social media updates or comments

• Here are more text figures and emoticons to copy (edit) and paste!

• If you’re crazy enough, here’s a great tutorial on how to use Node.js to create ASCII art from any photo.

3. Create long content

Long content is a common trend that affects many marketing tactics. More and more brands are creating excellent lists and tutorials that take hours to read. They appear to have better grades (longer content gets 77.2% more backlinks than short articles) and appear to perform well on social media.

But multimedia content is useful not only for your website content but also for social media updates. More and more opinion leaders are compiling long Twitter topics that look like articles. For example, when you talk about Quora on Twitter, Anita Campbell, founder of Small Biz Trends, provides personalized stats, results, and tips on how to do more with Quora.

4.Bonus: keep track of your results

There is no serious marketing strategy without measuring results accurately and consistently. Social media is no exception. There is no shortage of social media analysis tools to monitor the performance of your content and identify the best performances.

Agorapulse is one example. It gives you complete control over your social media schedule and helps you monitor the performance of your content across multiple channels.

5.Zoom in

Creating interesting updates on social media is an art. There is no way to do it. It takes weeks and months of experimentation and measurement results. It takes a lot of brainstorming and creativity. And that’s what makes the process so exciting!

Hope the ideas above can help you create original social media content that will attract new fans and fans of the brand.
